Jet-Setting Jamie to Fly the Flag for SA

Leading South Australian jockey Jamie Kah will earn some serious frequent-flyer miles when she rides in Queensland this weekend before heading to New Zealand next week.

Kah and SA born Dwayne Dunn will represent our state in the 2017 UBET Origin Jockey Series held by Racing Queensland starting today.

The six race series runs from Friday to Sunday with Doomben Racecourse hosting the event on Friday and Saturday before finishing up at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club on Sunday. Two races each day will count towards the series which some of our country's best hoops are taking part in.

Clare Lindop will also be competing in the series where she will represent her home state of Victoria.

In other exciting news for Jamie Kah, she has been selected to represent the International Team at the Jockeys' World Cup Prelude meeting at Ellerslie on Wednesday.

Kah will join Damian Lane and Jason Collett on the International side as they compete against a team of New Zealand hoops, a team of female jockeys and a team of apprentices.
