James Jordan from Racing.com has provided us with an early look at racing at Morphettville for Saturday July 27th.
Race 5 No.5 Nodoubtaboutit
She’s a talented mare when things go her way. She needs a good tempo on at the front and to be saved for a 200m burst. I think she’ll get conditions to suit here and the recent trial at Murray Bridge was neat enough for a sprint trip.
Race 6 No.11 Double Pockets
This horse has turned his form around of late and a lot of that is due to an improvement in his barrier manners. He overdid it in front last start but with a more controlled tempo early here he’s a great each way chance in an even race.
R8 No.13 Busker’s Ballad
His run here two starts ago was very good. His next run he settled out the back with a big weight and it wasn’t run to suit. Dropping down in weight on Saturday and back to a track and distance he loves suits. He’s another great each way chance in an open field.
