I've got this boy marked $3.40 but think he's going very well at the moment. He backs up from last Saturday where he was back on a slow tempo and had to overcome an on-pace bias. He got past all bar the winner and this race is no harder. Hopefully there's more tempo on up front for him tomorrow and he can finish off over the top.
R6 Ruler By Choice $3.70
I think this mare finds a good race here. She is off a four-week break and will have to carry top weight of 60kg but she's back in trip and off a heavy track run, so she should be pretty fit. She can race too keenly in her races but hopefully back in distance will aid that. She was good last start; I thought she was in the worst ground there but didn't get beaten far. She'll be right in the finish.

- Rail was 10m last Saturday and moves back to true for tomorrow's meeting.
- Up to 15ml of rain forecast in the next 24 hours so very hard to predict track rating and pattern.

Not sure who put this thing up at $2.60 favourite. Even at the current odds of $3.80 I think he's under the odds. Had every possible last week and this is a three-length stronger race. He'll probably double in price come jump time.
R3 Meehni $3.80
I'm not potting this mare but I think you'll get a better price later if you want to back her. She only just missed last start with the 59kg and drops 3kg for this so is reasonably well placed. I've got Pearl Bandit in front of her but she's second pick. I'd need $5.25 to back her though.
