Country Racing SA to launch a new website and ticketing platform

Industry participants, prospective participants and patrons will all benefit from Country Racing South Australia’s newly developed website, which has officially been launched today.

The website www.countryracingsa.com.au will generate significant efficiencies for CRSA’s 24 member clubs and industry participants, while also making it easier for patrons and race club customers to attend meetings and become involved in the industry.

“The new Country Racing SA website will provide our 24 member clubs with a vehicle to communicate with their customers and help market club events,” said CRSA chairman, Wayne Henson.

“Importantly, it will also give clubs, industry participants and others involved in the industry – plus those who might consider getting involved – with a mechanism to keep abreast of club news and events.

“We’re certain it will be a big boost to all CRSA clubs and take another step towards forging a stronger identity for CRSA – and stronger clubs as a result.

“We encourage all clubs to take advantage of this valuable resource.”

CRSA has engaged Moshtix as its ticketing partner to ensure tickets for country race meetings are available for sale in advance. The partnership will also ensure transparency around the availability of tickets.

Thoroughbred Racing South Australia (TRSA) CEO Nick Redin said TRSA had identified the need for CRSA to have its own unique identity.

“TRSA saw this as an initiative that would benefit the industry as a whole,” Mr Redin said.

“As such, we were more than happy to assist.

“TRSA also saw the Moshtix partnership as essential, given the importance of reliable online ticketing systems in these times. Making that facility available is necessary and absolutely crucial.”

In addition to racing form, acceptances, nominations, race replays and more, the TRSA website (theracessa.com.au) will also feature direct links to both the South Australian Jockey Clubs website and the new country racing website.

CRSA users will still have access to the TRSA website via direct links.

Note: The South Australian Jockey Club has an independent site (morphettville.com.au).
