RACE 1 - 12:40PM SCA LiSTNR Benchmark 68 Handicap (1200 METRES)
Bolt I Am looked to have a mortgage on this, leaving LEONARDA as the horse to beat. He has a good record with four wins from nine starts here and was easy in betting last time when beaten by Sizzling Bullet. BELLOMO is a backable price at $7. His best would be right in the mix in a race like this and the small field suits. RUSHWA was a good price when beating KISSABLE EIGHT here three starts back and he’ll find this easier, while KISSABLE EIGHT probably races on speed and has been in the money at both runs here.

RACE 2 - 1:20PM Radio 5AU 97.9 Maiden Plate (1396 METRES)
LOCH RIVER has been off the map after opening $8.50 is now a $3.50 chanc. He looks the clear top pick on that market support. He hasn’t fired a shot in three SA runs but draws the inside and where there’s smoke there’s fire. RIALTOR looked a handy type in his jump-outs before he led them up and tired on debut. His first run back was only fair but he’s another who will be on speed and is sure to give them something to chase. DEFIANT CAESOUR had specking in Victoria on debut but only battled first-up for Travis Doudle at Balaklava. He could be a rapid improver in this sort of race. OSIRIS was OK behind Aqaareb here last time and can be thereabouts. ILLUSION DATE has been placed at two of three starts here, while JEAN’S GLASS had speckling at odds last time.

RACE 3 - 1:55PM Milhinch Hourglass Jewellers Maiden Plate (1200 METRES)
Looks a race with three winning hopes. PRINCE SAIYAN gets his chance to bounce back after he was placed behind Aqaareb here last time out. He gets in well with the claim and is going to take some beating. MELHOOPEN is the clear danger. She has been placed at four of eight starts and the latest was behind Captain Bridge here. She has the barrier advantage and is sure to make the favourite work. LA FEMME was placed at Clare two runs back and then led them up at Balaklava in the race won by Silent Don. She won’t be far away.

RACE 4 - 2:35PM Pastoral Hotel Motel Benchmark 62 Handicap (1396 METRES)
JAAMINT was huge in a strong race at Morphettville last time when she led and gave plenty of cheek to be cut down late by Going Gaga. She has a good record here, figuring in the money at three of four starts and a repeat of last time will be winning this. DATASET has been around the mark in Alice Springs and was a winner there four starts ago. The claim for Ben Price helps his chances. SUPERVELOCE could be worth a ticket at a price. He was placed at Morphettville three runs back in December and his best form would be right up to a race like this. DOCTOR DOOLITTLE has been in the money at all three runs here and chased home stablemate Kissable Eight last time.

RACE 5 - 3:05PM Progress Rail Benchmark 62 Handicap (1867 METRES)
Keen on CHARLTON, who has been racing well this campaign and was an Oakbank winner two runs back. Will find this a drop in class after chasing home Sadente at Morphettville and looks perfectly placed with a Ben Price claim from a middle gate. IS THAT SO looks a danger and he was on speed when third behind Korodon last start. He draws to roll forward here and will be in it for a long way. SIZZLING BULLET comes off a good win over Leonarda last start and this isn’t a great deal stronger. DANCE OF HEROES has the inside gate and can run a forward race, while DAM RELIABLE is a former Kiwi who only battled first-up in SA at Balaklava but could improve.

RACE 6 - 3:40PM Davenport Builders Benchmark 54 Handicap (1600 METRES)
Like the chances of GUEST LIST to hit back to winning form. He was a good winner here two starts back before getting back in the run and closing late behind Augusta Rock. He isn’t helped by a sticky gate but should be in the finish. AUGUSTA ROCK is another who is poorly drawn but drifted back and charged home to beat Guest List last time. JAY PEE BEE ran third in the Augusta Rock race last time and has a win and one placing from three starts here. DUKE OF CHRISTOPHE could be an improver here. SCALLOP was runner-up behind Guest List two starts back and has claims at odds, along with ICE HUNT, who was placed at Clare four starts back.

RACE 7 - 4:10PM Shoreline Caravan Park Benchmark 54 Handicap (1100 METRES)
ZEDUKI was solid behind Maybe This Time here last time and draws an inside gate. His two efforts in better races were OK for this and he looks worthy of an each-way ticket after some important scratchings. A THOUSAND DEGREES led them up behind Time Warrior last time and has claims in a race like this. Stablemate PAM’S JOURNEY was a winner here two runs back and should go well despite a wide gate. MAYBE THIS TIME defeated Zeduki last start and has a good record here. SOCIAL MEDIA could run a forward race and is sure to come out running. She was runner-up at her only start here. METEOR’S MAN was beaten in non-TAB class last time out but was a Mildura winner at his previous start, so that form should stack up OK here.
