The Board of Racing SA has met today to review and consider submissions received following its announcement on 1 October that jumps racing would not be programmed in South Australia from 2022 onwards.
The original decision was based on the current state of jumps racing in SA and the Board’s view that we do not believe that jumps racing can recover to a point where it will again become a viable long-term industry in this State.
There is nothing in the submissions received that has changed the Board’s view and, as such, the decision to no longer program jumps racing in South Australia stands.
