Lincoln Moore's Saturday Preview

BEST BET: SLIPINTOTHIS (Race 7)

EACH-WAY: ALLEBOOM (Race 5)

VALUE: LAKHANI ROSE (Race 9)

RACE 1 - 12:31PM Thomas Farms Three-Year-Old Maiden Plate (1000 METRES)

TOTALLY DISCREET was well fancied but plain on face value first-up behind Squizzy Mizzy. She draws out wide but can improve and should take beating. RASTELLI is the watch here, a Victorian trained by Lloyd Kennewell. FLYING BARTY ran well behind Generation at Morphettville on debut and has been back to the trials since and has an inside draw. PUDDING is in the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable and won a recent Morphettville trial while RISING LEGEND is another watch runner on debut for Scott Westover.

SELECTIONS: 10. TOTALLY DISCREET, 8. Rastelli, 6. Flying Barty

RACE 2 - 1:06PM Irish Spring Fling at Morphettville - Saturday November 6th Handicap (1000 METRES)

Victorian STRATEGY draws perfectly and was a Kilmore winner four starts. That looks good enough form to winning a race like this. BRYAN’S BABE was off the map winning well at Port Lincoln last time and gets the claim. FALLOW was a Port Lincoln winner two starts back before being narrowly beaten by Free Wilma last time. Phillip Stokes has VIRTUE who has been only fair in Victoria and the market has DISTANT LOVER the pick of the pair first-up on the back of a good trial. JUSTA JILLAROO can run a cheeky race here down in the weights while RODEO was a Gawler winner last time out an draws a nice barrier.

SELECTIONS: 2. STRATEGY, 6. Distant Lover, 1. Bryan’s Babe

RACE 3 - 1:41PM Furphy Handicap (1300 METRES)

STAR OF CHAOS is the clear top pick here. She debuted behind Scorched Earth in the Magic Millions race at Murray Bridge and returned to win at Ballarat on the synthetic. She again led to win at Geelong last time out and is going to take some catching here. MONA DREAM was a Cranbourne winner three starts back and ran well behind Star Of Uma last time but faces a tricky wide barrier. MONTEPULCIANO raced well in strong three-year-old company last time in work but is going to be looking for further. ARTFUL LIBBY steps up in class after winning two at Port Lincoln.

SELECTIONS: 3. STAR OF CHAOS, 2. Mona Dream, 1. Montepulciano

RACE 4 - 2:16PM Master Builders South Australia Handicap (1550 METRES)

WERTHEIMER is a well-travelled former Kiwi on debut for Michael Hickmott and raced in last year’s Victorian Derby. He’s trialled well and won’t have to be a superstar to be winning this. COMFORT GIRL has some upside, and she was good first-up run behind Star of Uma. The extra distance appeals and she can run a big race here. DEELBRAKA was a Moe winner back in August but is poorly drawn. BONIFACE comes off a soft Port Lincoln win, while SPLASH SOME CASH scored a big odds at Murray Bridge last week. NO STRINGS wasn’t beaten far at odds last time and maps to get a gun run.

SELECTIONS: 5. WERTHEIMER, 9. Comfort Girl, 2. Deelbraka

RACE 5 - 2:51PM The Junction Handicap (Heat 10 Riziz Series) (1000 METRES)

Very good race with ALLEBOOM has a great record and his form this time in has been good. He won two in row before a solid effort behind Rock The Ring last time. He draws to get a nice run and has never missed a placed in six starts here. ENCHATINGLY back in Adelaide after a solid run at Group 3 level last time in Melbourne. Her two previous wins here were super impressive and she’s going to take some beating again. Will Clarken has two very interesting runners. GEM OF SCOTLAND is a former Queenslander with a good record and she did show solid improvement at her second trial. MAYAMEEN returns to SA after winning four of five starts in the NT and has trialled nicely. Her best form is certainly good enough for a race like this. HUFFINGTON is another in great form and won consecutive races before he tired late behind Dexelation last time. TRIP looks well over the odds on her best form. She had a break after beating The Difference at Ballarat while stablemate IDEAS MAN ran well first-up behind Alleboom. LARKHAM draws the inside and must be respected.

SELECTIONS: 1. ALLEBOOM, 8. Enchantingly, 2. Gem Of Scotland

RACE 6 - 3:29PM Melbourne Cup Day at Morphettville - Tuesday November 2nd Handicap (1250 METRES)

Another open race on paper. STREET TOUGH has been knocking on the door since coming to SA and was again solid behind Free Of Debt in the Wylie. The draw is a slight concern, but he has solid each-way appeal. SO YOU CAN has always promised plenty and turned around an ordinary effort two starts back to win well last time. This is another step up in class, but he maps to get a nice run. TRITON RISING is resuming and has trialled well. His Victorian form was solid for a race like this, and he was good behind Designer Chef here before a break. TERBIUM had solid market support in the Wylie and should be in the mix here despite the sticky wide draw.

SELECTIONS: 1. STREET TOUGH, 6. So You Can, 3. Triton Rising

RACE 7 - 4:07PM White Claw Handicap (Heat 9 Skybeau Series) (2250 METRES)

Former Victorian SLIPINTOTHIS is now with Ryan Balfour and looks extremely hard to beat here after his dominant win over Smiling Assassin. He chased home Hasta La War before that, and that form has stood up in much better races in Victoria. EXALTED AMBITION has been racing in a solid form in similar races and draws to be a big threat form barrier two. SKY HERO draws poorly but has ability and was a good winner back in class two starts back and can run into the multiples. SWELTER MAGIC can measure-up in this class on his Sale win three starts back, MARYMOUNT LASS was too good for Wings Of Pastrami last week, ALL HARD WOOD comes out of the same race and SMILING ASSASSIN looks well over the odds on recent form.

SELECTIONS: 2. SLIPINTOTHIS, 3. Exalted Ambition, 12. Sky Hero

RACE 8 - 4:55PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (Heat 7 Happy Trails Series) (1400 METRES)

Another open race and IMPOSSIBLE ACTION can bounce back here. He was too good for Morialta here two runs back and was a beaten favourite at Murray Bridge behind Splash Some Cash last week. RENEGADE looks a big improver back here in SA and is a winner this track and trip. The blinkers go on, but the wide draw is a concern. WYLIE OL’ COYOTE races well here and comes off a good win beating Enlist who has won since. CELESTIAL ILLUSION has been racing well and has been in the money at all three starts here but does draw a tricky barrier. UNLACED has ability and must be respected here despite all of her four wins coming at a mile. CARBONE comes off a huge win Penola when he blew the start.

SELECTIONS: 9. IMPOSSIBLE ACTION, 1. Renegade, 3. Wylie Ol’ Coyote

RACE 9 - 5:35PM Canadian Club Viddora Series Final (Qualified Horses) (1300 METRES)

Wide open race. DIAMONDS was good up in class first-up before trying hard behind Another Award last time. She draws a middle gate but is knocking on the door and looks good each way value. LAKHANI ROSE was OK in the Wylie and only beaten 2.7 lengths behind Another Award last time. She looks well over the odds and can be hitting the line hard. ANOTHER AWARD produced a big finish to run down rivals last start but draws the car park. She’ll be giving her rivals a start but must be respected.  LADY DUNMORE ran well behind Another Award last time and is more than capable. STAR OF UMA was a too good for Point Blaze last time and races well here. She’s come up short from a sticky gate but does have the claim. POINT BLAZE has been racing well and must be given some thought. SCENIC HOST has won three of her past four and draws perfectly. ADDICTIONS is going super and won consecutive races at Balaklava.

SELECTIONS: 5. DIAMONDS, 3. Lakhani Rose, 6. Another Award
